In April 2007, while on a family trip to the north of Israel, I made a stop at the visitors center of the Galil Mountain winery.
The Galil Mountain winery is quite unique. A brand new and modern winery, which produces over 800,000 bottles per year, with just 4 production line workers. I must admit, I’m not exactly an expert on wine, but the final products are considered very good.
The vineyards are all in close proximity, allowing well timed harvesting of grapes as well as a quick transport directly into the winery.
The visitors tour begins with a bit of general information, you can then walk along the main stations of the wine production area, and obviously finish with a great tasting session. Make you sure you got a designated driver.
