Sea Kayaking in Blake Island
Here are some photos from a half-day sea kayaking trip around Blake Island in Puget Sound. All images were shot hand-held (mostly from my sea kayak) with a Canon Rebel XT, Canon 17-85 IS and polarizer.

Sunrise and sunset are the two peaks of the day for any outdoor photography. Lighting is easy and warm, contrasts between bright and dark surfaces are reduced to a minimum, and everything simply looks better.
