On May 3rd, a unique and original sporting event took place in Manara, Israel. A group of friends, avid mountain bikers, arranged a mountain bike downhill competition on the northern cliffs. Nothing unusual on its own, only that this time around, competitors had to apply a slight modification to their bikes- take off the chain and then complete the run.

Last October, I got to visit Florida, and stayed at the Daytona beach area- a small town called Deland, to be precise.
The small town atmosphere was broken by the roar of Harley Davidson’s and other custom motor bikes. Cruising around were dozens of bikes, and in growing numbers as the distance to Daytona beach, and its speedway in particular, shortens- where dozens became thousands… Continue reading
