What is “The Wide Lens”?

The Wide Lens is a hosting Blog\Website. The point behind The Wide Lens is enabling photographers of any kind or class give a stage to some unique aspects of their photography.

What aspect of Photography will be highlighted on The Wide Lens?

That is totally up to the contributing photographers. If you have an image that is based on a special technique you would like to share- that’s one aspect. If you encountered and documented a rare occasion or moment you would like to share, that’s another aspect. Anything that you consider unique, captured on camera and has some sort of a story behind it, should find a stage on The Wide Lens.

Will The Wide Lens publish any type of photography?

I think the right answer will be “yes, almost”. If a photograph is distinctivly of offensive nature, it will probably not be posted.

What’s the defenetion for “offensive nature” of a photograph?

Well, if you think it might be offensive, it probably is… We’re all usually capable of making this distinction. Nevertheless, if you found yourself offended by a photograph published on The Wide Lens, please drop a line and say so.

I want to post some pictures - will The Wide Lens make any other use of them?

The copyrights for an image\photograph are exclusive to whoever created it. If you want to publish a photograph or a series on The Wide Lens, you don’t lose the copyrights over your images, you only allow them to be posted here. The Wide Lens will always respect the creators of the photographs, and will never make any use of them excpet for posting them on the website as requested by the photographer.

I found some really cool images on the web, can I send them over to you?

No. The Wide Lens will only post original photographs. If you didn’t take them or got the permission from the photographer to post them on The Wide Lens, they shouldn’t be posted here.
