Getting back on Track- The Wide Lens Relaunched

The Wide Lens is Back!

True, this Blog had just a few posts on it before going into a 3 month hibernation period, so I’m not sure how dramatic a statement that is.

Anyway- The Wide Lens, an International stage for amateur and professional photographers to share and display their work and the stories behind it, is up and about. I have implemented some adjustments to the old WordPress.com based blog. It’s now based on its very own server, which allows me to add all kinds of widgets, blidgets and whatever else I couldn’t do before, so I hope to improve this platform as time allows.

In the meantime, you can start wandering around, reading a bit about The Wide Lens, take a glimpse at the gallery, review the FAQ (not too much in there for now) or send your own stuff to show if you wish.

Since we’re all about getting into motion, I decided to add a picture I took of a friend in one of our latest Mountain Bike excursions. I took this panning shot with a Nikon D-70 DSLR camera while practicing the panning technique. This was actually my first try, and I’m proud of it!

Took a shot you want to show off with? Let me know!
